2026/2027 Season Announcements

Today is the longest day of the year in Hannover, blending the hot sun with endless summer nights. As we wander past the Machsee, it feels like the perfect mix of tropical heat and European summer. This warmth takes us straight back to the coffee fields, hiking up the mountains for the best views, while the vibrant evenings bring out the joy in everyone.

Our Third Year: Fresh Arrivals

As we enter our third year with Paso Paso, we are laying the foundations for new traditions. We are excited to announce our new microlots for the upcoming months, curated from your feedback and exciting new farm opportunities. Here is what to expect:

  • Our selections feature more anaerobic natural coffees with fruit-forward profiles and bright, unique varieties.
  • We have reduced the number of washed microlots.
  • All coffees continue to be roasted as light as possible, yet perfectly developed for both filter and espresso.

A Milestone in Farmer Owned Coffee

In a major first, our Costa Rican coffees will arrive directly at our roastery in Hannover. We arranged a container straight from Aquiares, bypassing external warehouses in Hamburg. This is a massive step in our vertical integration, giving us more control over the supply chain—made possible entirely by the loyalty of our fans.

Transparent Pricing for a Fair Future

With a new harvest, we naturally review our pricing. While our improved vertical integration brings some savings, our investments in our team and equipment, alongside rising fuel and trucking costs, have increased our overall operating expenses. Furthermore, due to the uncertainty caused by the Iran War, we doubled down on supporting our farms, actively deciding to increase the price paid directly to our farmers by 10-30% compared to last year.

To remain an approachable, affordable luxury, we are keeping the prices of all signature coffees exactly the same. We are only increasing the price of our two blends, Café de la Casa & Corazón Oscuro:

  • A 250g bag will increase from €10.75 to €12.00.
  • Our 1kg bags will move from €39.50 to €42.00.
  • This directly reflects the increased price paid for the main component, the Diego Robelo Peaberry Washed, which rose from $7.50 to $9.25 per kilo.

We are deeply grateful for the relentless support from coffee lovers and shops right here in Hannover and across Europe. This coming coffee year will be more exciting than ever!
